Policies
Results
Each physician decided how to deal with results. If your results are abnormal, we will contact you to review them. Currently, we usually also contact patients with normal results. If you are concerned and would like to find out about your results, please contact your doctor directly.
Hospital Care
Dr. _ is part of a call group that includes both male and female physicians. Your birth will not necessarily be attended by Dr. _ , and may be attended by any physician in the call group.
Timeliness
We believe patients’ time is valuable, and endeavor to run on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will have to rebook and a $300 charge will apply.
Questionnaire
Please complete your previsit questionnaire(s). This helps your provider best attend to your needs during your visit.
Payment
Some services (such as filling out forms) are not insured by the Alberta Government, and require patients to pay directly. Please see the ‘fees’ section of the website of a list of prices, or discuss directly with your doctor.
Services Not Provided
Each physician, at your meet and greet appointment, will review specifics of services they do not provide.
Termination of Patient-Physician Relationship
We reserve the right to terminate the patient-physician relationship under the following circumstances:
- If we, or any person we work with, feels threatened in any way by a patient or his or her family.
- If a patient has had two or more “no-shows” to appointments.
